AlmaznyjVPN — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AlmaznyjVPN (the “App”, “we”, “our”) handles information when you use our mobile and desktop applications for iOS, Android, Android TV, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

TL;DR

• We do not log your browsing activity.
• We do not log DNS queries.
• We do not log IP addresses (other than ephemerally for routing).
• We do not sell, rent, or share user data with anyone.
• We do not include any third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
• You bring your own VPN configuration; we do not operate the VPN servers you connect to.

1. Who we are

AlmaznyjVPN is a client application for self-hosted and third-party VPN servers. The App lets you import a VPN configuration (for example, a WireGuard, AmneziaWG, or OLCRTC profile) and establish an encrypted tunnel to a server of your choice.

2. Data we do NOT collect

The App is designed around a no-logs principle. Specifically, we do not collect, store, or process:

• The websites you visit, search queries, or URLs.
• Your DNS queries or DNS responses.
• The IP addresses you connect to through the tunnel.
• The contents of packets that travel through the tunnel.
• Your real IP address (except ephemerally on your device to establish the tunnel).
• Any data about other apps installed on your device.
• Your location.
• Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera content (except as described in Section 3 below for QR-code import).

3. Data the App processes locally on your device

To make the App work, the following data is processed and stored only on your device:

• VPN profiles you import. Server address, keys, allowed IPs, and DNS settings. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
• App settings. Your local preferences (language, theme, auto-connect, kill switch, notifications, default protocol).
• Local logs. A short log of connect/disconnect events and errors for troubleshooting. Logs stay on your device. They are shared only if you explicitly tap “Share logs”, and even then transmission is performed by your operating system’s standard share sheet (e.g. email, AirDrop); we do not receive logs automatically.
• QR scanner camera access. When you tap “Scan QR code” to import a profile, the App uses the device camera. Camera frames are processed locally and never sent anywhere.

4. Data your operating system may send

If the App crashes, your operating system (Apple via App Store Connect, Google via Play Console) may send us a crash report. These reports contain technical information (stack trace, device model, OS version) but no personal data and no VPN traffic information. You can disable crash reporting in your system settings.

We do not run any other analytics or telemetry.

5. VPN servers and providers

AlmaznyjVPN is a client. The VPN servers you connect to are operated by you or by a third party you choose. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.

If you use a server provided by a third party (employer, friend, commercial provider), please review that party’s privacy policy to understand what they log.

6. Third-party SDKs

The App contains no third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs.

System-level frameworks (e.g. Apple’s Network Extension framework on iOS, Google’s VpnService on Android) are used to operate the tunnel locally on your device; they do not transmit your data to us.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact support@almaznyj.click and we will remove it.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, we typically have no data to disclose, correct, or delete. However, if you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy regulations, you have the right to:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold any data about you.
• Request a copy of any such data.
• Request deletion of that data.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

VPN profiles stored locally are protected by your device’s standard secure storage (Keychain on iOS/macOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android). VPN tunnels use the underlying protocol’s cryptography (WireGuard Noise-IK, AmneziaWG obfuscated handshake, OLCRTC datachannel encryption).

We do not transmit your VPN profiles or keys to any server controlled by us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page indicates when the current version was published. Material changes will be communicated within the App.
